Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all one-on-one tarot reading sessions booked through whitenighttarot.com. By making a booking, you agree to the rules set out below.

1. Cancellation by You (the Customer)

All bookings are non-refundable in cash. Customer-initiated cancellations do not entitle you to a monetary refund, regardless of how much notice is given.

If you can no longer attend your scheduled session, you may request to reschedule instead (see Section 2).

2. Rescheduling by You

If you cannot attend your scheduled session, you may submit a reschedule request through your customer account (booking panel) on our website.

  • Each reschedule request is reviewed by us and approved or declined at our discretion, depending on availability and the circumstances.
  • We recommend requesting as early as possible, as last-minute requests are harder to accommodate.
  • Rescheduling does not entitle you to a cash refund.

If you need help with a reschedule, you can also email whitenighttarot@gmail.com with your booking name and the original session date.

3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us

If we need to cancel or reschedule your session (for example, due to illness, technical issues, or unavoidable circumstances), we will offer you:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to reschedule at a mutually agreeable time at no additional cost.

We will notify you as soon as practicable.

4. Completed Sessions

Once a session has taken place, it is non-refundable. This is because:

  • The service has been delivered.
  • Tarot readings are interpretive in nature, and customer satisfaction with the *content* of a reading is subjective and cannot reasonably form the basis of a refund.

By booking and attending a session, you acknowledge and accept this.

5. Technical Issues During a Session

If a session is disrupted by a technical problem on our side (e.g., we cannot connect, our equipment fails) that we cannot resolve within a reasonable time during the session:

  • We will offer to complete the remaining time on a rescheduled date at no extra cost, or
  • Refund a proportionate amount based on the time lost.

If the disruption is caused by your side (e.g., your internet, your device), the session is treated as delivered for the time we were available, and no refund will be issued.

6. No-Show

If you do not attend the scheduled session and have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued. We will hold the slot for 15 minutes from the scheduled start time before treating it as a no-show.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed:

  • Through the original payment method (PayPal).
  • Within 10 business days of approval.
  • The refunded amount may take additional time to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

8. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at whitenighttarot@gmail.com. We will respond within 3 business days and aim to resolve the issue directly.

Filing a chargeback through your bank or PayPal *without first contacting us* is treated as a breach of these Terms and may result in:

  • Forfeiture of any pending refund.
  • A permanent block from booking future sessions.

9. Service Quality Concerns

If you have concerns about the *conduct* of a session (e.g., the reader was inappropriate, the technical setup was poor on our end), please email whitenighttarot@gmail.com within 7 days of the session. We will review the case in good faith and may offer a partial refund, credit, or rescheduled session at our discretion.

Concerns about the *content or interpretation* of a tarot reading are not grounds for a refund (see section 4).

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand) where they apply. If our services do not meet a relevant statutory guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy under those Acts.

本退款与取消政策适用于通过 whitenighttarot.com 预约的所有一对一塔罗解读服务。完成预约即表示您同意以下规则。

1. 客户取消

所有预约不接受现金退款。客户主动取消的,无论提前多久通知,均不予退款。

如您因故无法参与,可改为申请改期(详见第 2 条)。

2. 客户改期

如您无法按时参与,可通过本网站的客户账户(预约面板)提交改期申请。

  • 每个改期申请由我方审核,依据档期与具体情况酌情批准或驳回
  • 建议尽早提出申请,临近预约时间的请求较难安排。
  • 改期不构成现金退款的理由。

如改期遇到问题,也可发邮件至 whitenighttarot@gmail.com,注明预约姓名和原预约时间。

3. 我方取消或改期

如因不可抗力(如生病、技术问题、突发情况)我们须取消或改期,我们将提供以下选项:

  • 全额退款,或
  • 免费改期至双方都方便的时间。

我们将尽快通知您。

4. 已完成的解读

解读一旦完成,不予退款。原因:

  • 服务已交付。
  • 塔罗解读本身具有诠释性质,客户对解读内容的满意程度具有主观性,不构成退款理由。

完成预约并参与解读即视为您理解并同意此条款。

5. 解读中的技术问题

如解读因我方技术问题中断(如我方无法接通、我方设备故障)且短时间内无法解决:

  • 我们将提供另约时间免费补完剩余时长,或
  • 按损失时间按比例退款

如中断原因来自客户方(如您的网络、您的设备),按我方可服务的时长视为已交付,不予退款。

6. 缺席

如您未按时参与解读,且未在 24 小时前通知我们,不予退款。从约定开始时间起,我们将为您保留 15 分钟,超时按缺席处理。

7. 退款方式

经批准的退款将通过以下方式处理:

  • 退回您原支付渠道(PayPal)。
  • 在批准后 10 个工作日内完成处理。
  • 实际到账时间可能因您的银行或卡发行方而异。

8. 争议交易与 Chargeback

如您认为某笔扣款有误,请先联系我们:whitenighttarot@gmail.com。我们将在 3 个工作日内回复并寻求直接解决。

未事先联系我们就向银行或 PayPal 发起 chargeback,视为违反本条款,我们可能:

  • 取消任何待处理的退款。
  • 永久禁止您预约未来的解读。

9. 服务质量投诉

如对解读的进行方式有疑问(如解读师行为不当、我方技术设置严重失误等),请在解读后 7 天内邮件至 whitenighttarot@gmail.com。我们将秉持诚信原则审查,并自行决定是否提供部分退款、抵用券或免费改期。

对塔罗解读内容或解释的疑虑,不构成退款理由(参见第 4 条)。

10. 消费者权益

本政策不排除或限制您依据新西兰《Consumer Guarantees Act 1993》或《Fair Trading Act 1986》所享有的权利。如本服务未达到相关法律保障,您可能依据该等法律享有相应救济。
